Zara Woman FW21 Campaign

Inspired by Richard Avedon, Fabien wanted to portray a group of diverse, sophisticated women, each with their own attitude (and a bit over the top!), with the common idea that they would be unapologetically themselves.

This was a fun challenge to oversee, with a complex combination of footage, set extensions and rotoscope. But most fun was probably working with Future Perfect on this disco remix of Mozart’s Symphony No.40 in G Minor.

“Room31” featuring Malachi Kirby, Arnaud Valois, Niels Schneider and Jorge Lopez

The challenge was to create four unique films, each with it’s own cinematic theme. I was able to explore music styles, researching libraries and creating custom compositions to match each genre, with nods to Spielberg and Hitchcock. For the “Phone Call” film, I worked with a writer, and casted and directed the voice over artist, to create a new character in the story.

I love this character study from Fabien, the highlight of this series for me was working with Moritz Staub on the sound design and music, which really brought these together and created a whole new character.

I mean, this one is ridiculous. I was so excited to get the green light from Cerrone on the music, and then casting and directing the voice over artists to create the 70s trailer theme was a highlight of the season for me

This may be one of my favorite campaigns to ever work on, each “scene” is so extraordinarily weird, and funny and energetic. The music by Future Perfect, and sound by Raphael Ajuelos brings the whole piece to life.
